There is nothing that is as personal as a man trying to protect his lover from being snatched by another man, because in most cases it is a matter of life and death.
This is the exact situation that Gengetone artist Fathermoh endeavours to portray in his bubbly jam ‘Kaskie Vibaya’, which features Sylvia Ssaru.
Being a song that focuses on safeguarding the emotional stability of the Boy Child, ‘Kaskie Vibaya’ is overshadowing all other songs from Kenya by not only topping music charts but also being extensively streamed on YouTube and on digital platforms.
Now heading for 3.7M YouTube views within just two months, ‘Kaskie Vibaya’ is so big that it has since landed Fathermoh and Ssaru a nomination in the East African Entertainment Awards (EAEA) in the category of People’s Choice Best Kenyan Single.
