Our Paparazzi reveal that Exray Taniua, who is one of Kenya’s most illustrious artists, is in Uganda to work on new studio projects and while in the country he is also expected to record collabos with some top Ugandan musicians.
Real name Kevin Kinuthia, Exray Taniua has made himself a name as a creative artist who hit the limelight with ‘Sipangwingwi’, a blockbuster hit that garnered over 9.8M YouTube views and counting, which President William Ruto used as his official campaign song.
However, besides ‘Sipangwingwi’, Exray Taniua has worked on several successful music projects among them; ‘Pesa Ndogo’ ft. Mejja with over 1.8M YouTube views, ‘Usherrati’ with over 3.8M YouTube views, ‘Makofi’, ‘Sijanona’ and others.
Although he has been a part of the Kenyan music industry for some years now, Exray hit the limelight during the COVID-19 lockdown, having started off with the group Boondocks Gang, which comprised other artists; Odi Wa Muranga and Maddox.
Over time however, Exray veered away from Boondocks Gang and started recording music with several other Kenyan artists, a move that has enabled him to fast-track his music career to the level of being an award-winning artist.
His latest music video ‘Jibambez’ has claimed over 275K YouTube views so far, further solidifying the fact that Exray Taniua is indeed a kingpin in the Kenyan music industry.
