‘Kudade’, a smash hit by Kenyan artists Fathermoh, Harry Craze, Ndovu Kuu, Lil Maina, and Johnny Johnny, is now rocking fans in South Africa and other parts of the world.
Although it was created in Kenya, ‘Kudade’, which is a reverberating tune, has since spilled over to other countries where there are Gengetone fans and this week, a fan only identified as @cashies226, commented thus after streaming the jam on YouTube; “South African here ….keep up bros with hard work, we recognize y’all.”
This is evidence that ‘Kudade’, which is trending at No#1 on YouTube and music charts across Kenya, is bigger than anything else on the Kenyan music scene currently and is going global.
But that’s not all, within just three weeks of its release the jam is being streamed by over 1.9M fans on YouTube, indicating that it’s soon clocking 2M views.
The success harnessed by ‘Kudade’ during the first few days of its release can only mean one thing; that Fathermoh is now in a different league in as far as Kenyan music is concerned because he ranks first-rate!
