There is arguably no song in the history of East African music that has spent a long time on top of the charts like ‘Kuna Kuna’, a chartbuster by Vic West, featuring Fathermoh, Brandy Maina, Thee Exit Band and Savara.
‘Kuna Kuna’, which is a timeless dancehall jam, continues to reign high in musical rankings by topping music charts for 18 straight weeks, a record that is yet to be broken by any other song from not only Kenya but the entire African continent.
According to the latest rankings from East African music analysts Music Charts 254, ‘Kuna Kuna’ tops the list of the Top 20 booming songs, a position the record has maintained for over four months straight now.
It is now evident that for four full months, no other East African artists has managed to release a song that can topple ‘Kuna Kuna’ from the top of the charts and all the credit for this goes to Vic West plus the other artists who did the track.
Besides topping music charts however, ‘Kuna Kuna’ continues to be widely streamed on YouTube, whereby the video has so far attracted over 13.6M views and still counting, which means that the studio project is still gaining traction.
With just one click on the link you can stream ‘Kuna Kuna’ on YouTube, so that we can push it to 24M views or more.
