‘Kuna Kuna’ By Vic West Goes To Cuba, Still Dominating Music Charts

Vic West’s runaway hit ‘Kuna Kuna’, which features Fathermoh, Thee Exit Band, Brand Maina and Savara, remains one of the biggest songs from East Africa that has since spread to the rest of the world.

The latest country to feel the ‘Kuna Kuna’ vibe is Cuba, where the song is rocking partiers in Havana and other parts of the country.

The internet is currently awash with several videos of Cubans dancing to ‘Kuna Kuna’ while others are singing to the lyrics like they are chiming to a kindergarten rhyme.

By rocking partiers in Cuba, ‘Kuna Kuna’ proves once again that despite having been done in East Africa, Kenya, to be precise, it is a song that cannot be limited to any borders.

Moreover, this comes at a time when ‘Kuna Kuna’, which now stands at over 14.6M YouTube views, is still a dominant song on music charts in Kenya and other countries.

Despite being over four months old on the market, East African music analysts   Music Charts 254 still ranks ‘Kuna Kuna’ among the first three on the list of the Top 20 New Songs in Kenya.
