Celebrated Kenyan singing trio the Mbuzi Gang are back in the limelight, thanks to their debut album dubbed Three Wise Goats, which they released 2022 via Black Market Records.
The classic album saw the three hit makers working with international artists such as Jose Chameleon, Ethic, Navio, Exray, Lavalava, Nina Roz, Felista di Superstar and Swat Matire.
So far, the album has garnered over 1 million streams on Boomplay, a milestone that other Gengetone albums are trying to achieve with little success.
The album was well-received by fans, with ‘Shida’, which is considered by many as the album’s signature tune, driving into everyone’s playlist in Kenya.
Other songs on the album include; ‘Baikoko’, ‘Iskaba’ ft Vanessa, ‘Wah Wah’ ft Katapila, ‘Rudi Nyumbani’ ft Nina Roz, ‘Shamra Shamra’ ft Felista Di Superstar, Fic Fameika, among others.
With this album, Mbuzi Gang solidified their status as the kings of Gengetone in Kenya, a reputation that no other artist is about to dispute.
Now, working on the official video for their new jam ‘Zoza’, a collabo with Ugandan rapper Navio, which is a single off the same album, the gang is making an effort to give their fans masterpieces that will be repeatedly listened to on all music platforms across the world.
They have over time earned their mark in the industry as viral hit-makers and this record is undisputable too.
