The repetitive viewing of a music video is always as a result of public praise, a big fan base or a liking for the lyrics.
Well, ‘Miondoko’, a sizzling banger by Rico Gang featuring Mbuzi Gang, has all the above.
Its pre-release trend before the official video release had it as the talk of town, yet to date the project is still trending among the top Kenyan songs.
With 2023 already here, ‘Miondoko’, which is still trending, boasts over 1.8 million views on YouTube.
However, this isn’t so surprising because it was likely to happen, especially because the Mbuzi Gang have such a wide fan base across Africa ever since they dropped their massive hit ‘Shamra Shamra’ back in 2021.
On this particular project, the Mbuzi Gang, together with the duo (Rico Gang) came together and made a rhythm that already has its own dance style and remixes all over, reason why ‘Miondoko’ is a jam thousands of people easily vibe to.
It is gearing towards two million plus and above views, which shouldn’t come as a shock to anyone, because it is expected.
With the lyrics being repetitive, you’ll definitely be murmuring ‘kale kadance’ in every instance.
The dance style is so simple, “rusha mikono nikama hujui kudance, toa kofia na, mkona wa kulia na, panguza kiara na utoe kijasho…”
