It is already a great year for Kenyan Gengetone group Rico Gang, whose latest video ‘Miondoko’, which features Mbuzi Gang, is doing wonders.

‘Miondoko’, which is taken off their album Sababisha, is performing well on YouTube, with over 1.5M views and still counting.

This means that the video, which is posting at least 30K views daily, stands high chances of hitting 2M views before even the month ends, which will be a huge positive for the Rico Gang.

The commendable performance by ‘Miondoko’ indicates that the relentless efforts, charisma and investment the Rico Gang have injected in their music career over the years is starting to pay off.

This is because ‘Miondoko’, which continues to attract thousands of Tik Tok dance challenges from fans across East Africa, is one of their biggest studio projects ever since they joined the music industry.

This project exhibits the Rico Gang’s potential to dominate the Kenyan music industry for as long as they want, especially in the Gengetone arena.

Besides performing well on YouTube however, ‘Miondoko’ is also doing rounds on airwaves around East Africa, on top of being available for streaming on digital platforms.
