Kenyan musician Joefes, one of the artists that make up popular singing trio Mbuzi Gang, is literary causing a rampage on TikTok with his new jam titled ‘Mother-in-Law’ featuring Kushman, which has already gone viral on the social media platform.
Fans from across East Africa and beyond are bombarding TikTok with dance challenge videos for ‘Mother-in-Law’, which proves that many of them are already hooked and eagerly waiting for the official release of this track.
The challenge videos coming from fans in almost every corner across East Africa is proof enough that Joefes is nowadays one of the Kenyan artists that command a huge following in the region.
It is a song that tells a story of a man who has fallen in love with a woman, but takes it upon himself to first get permission from his ‘Mother-in-Law’, before he takes the woman home to become his wife.
‘Mother-in-Law’ is a song that thousands of youth shall easily identify with, because at least a big number of them have had their experience with mothers-in-law, which is usually not a very pleasant one.
Actually, any man who is courting a lady or wants to legitimize the relationship with his girlfriend ought to listen to this song, because Joefes shares a few tips in it on how to deal with a ‘Mother-in-Law’.
It is definitely obvious that Joefes is bound to capture the attention of thousands of people not only in Kenya but also in other countries, because the issue of dealing with Mothers-in-law is universal and concerns almost everyone.
