Ugandan fast-rising dancehall artist Legion East, who recently released his debut EP titled ‘My City’ staged a thrilling live performance on Saturday, at popular city hangout Club Obligato.
Legion East, who was the main act of the night, performed ahead of the Perfect Storm Boxing Event which was held at Club Obligato, which was attended by hundreds of people.
During the show, which was attended among others Black Market Records Chief Executive Officer(CEO), Cedric Singleton, Legion East thrilled partiers by performing some of the songs off his new EP like; ‘My City’, ‘Winner,’ ‘Nawe’, among others, which left many of them in a groovy mood.
A new kid on the music block, Legion East made headlines a few days ago after he outed his 5-track EP My City, a studio project that officially unveiled him onto the Ugandan music scene.
Since he dropped the EP, which is already available for streaming on YouTube, Legion East is going places and is getting several bookings to perform at various city hangouts.
With the My City studio project Legion East literally cut his teeth in the music industry and if all goes as planned, he will find himself on the international market before many people realise it.
