One of the most exciting songs (genre included) out right now is Nande Boyz’s ‘Filter’, which has a “safe” visuals and a catchy audio.
From ‘Souci’ to this release, Nande Boyz have seemingly become more forward or aggressive in their music.
The duo sing about ladies they’ve met online, chatted with and have had their pictures sent to the boy but then they meet them in person, it seems like dames do not resemble the pictures they sent. Here is where the title “Filter” comes in, and they sing;
“Mbona kama kwenye photo anaonekana ni mrembo sana. Hivi we hujui filter…”
(Why is it on the photo you appear so beautiful. Don’t you know it’s filters…”
If you like this record, check out their EP. The six-track project is titled ‘Safari’ where the boys talk about different instances of their lives and features on artist, Keliah. The Ep consists of:
Safari
Souci
Panadol
It’s Okay ft Keliah
Tumewakera
Filter
The song was directed by Allan Soja and produced by Pakii. The song’s “Coming Soon” tag got premiered two months ago and fans have been patiently waiting for the colourful video to drop.
