Sensational Kenyan songbird Shekina Karen, whose latest collabo with Swat Matire and Fathermoh dubbed ‘Bad Girl’ is trending in Kenya, is set to be featured on NBS TV’s KURT show today, Saturday August 12, 2023, starting at 2:00Pm.
The NBS TV KURT show, which is hosted by Tuff B, focuses on the hottest new music from Kenya, Uganda, Rwanda and Tanzania and this time round Shekina Karen, one of the most prominent artists in East Africa, will be the featured artist.
It should be noted that although she has in the past released a number of successful projects, ‘Bad Girl’, her collabo with Swat Matire and Fathermoh, is one of Shekina Karen’s biggest songs this year.
Booming at almost every nightclub and ranking high on various music charts for radio and TV stations across Kenya, ‘Bad Girl’, which has attracted over 573K YouTube views, has since highlighted Shekina Karen as a formidable music force throughout East Africa.
However, besides ‘Bad Girl’, Shekina Karen’s other biggest studio project is a collabo with Fathermoh dubbed ‘Dai Dai’, which has since zoomed past 3.1M YouTube views, although she has a number of other songs like; ‘Nampenda’, ‘Lende’ ft. Smady Tings, ‘Ex’ ft. Swat Matire, ‘Huntress’, to mention but a few.
