Promising Ugandan dancehall artist Riff, a member of popular teenage dance group Zari Dancers Africa, has released a new single dubbed ‘Uganda Empya’, which is now ready for streaming on YouTube.

Featuring budding musician Shy Bwoy, ‘Uganda Empya’ is a very energetic dancehall tune, which is bound to become ‘another problem’ of sorts on the Ugandan party scene.

Premiered on YouTube just two days ago, ‘Uganda  Empya’, which can loosely be translated to mean ‘the New Uganda’ in English, is an allusion to a new Uganda, where the youth have taken over from old generation and are living life to the fullest, without fear or favour to anybody.

It is a song that mainly targets the Z-Generation of Millennials in Uganda, especially those who want to enjoy life without any inhibitions.

A musician with intent to conquer the dancehall realm and take his artistry to the next level, Riff decided to let his voice and musical style take center stage in this song, giving listeners an opportunity to experience his talent in its purest form.

Riff is a multi-talented singer, songwriter and skilled dancer, who has since cut his teeth in Uganda’s music industry with ‘Uganda Empya’ and all fans can do is to enjoy this jam as they anticipate more great music from him.
