Nina Roz Declares Intentions To Contest For Sembabule Woman MP On NUP Ticket

Celebrated female Ugandan musician Nina Roz, who has out a very electrifying music video titled ‘Nwanilaako’, has raised eyebrows after she declared her intention to contest for the Sembabule Woman Member of Parliament come 2026, on Bobi Wine's National Unity Platform (NUP).

Celebrated female Ugandan musician Nina Roz, who has out a very electrifying music video titled ‘Nwanilaako’, has raised eyebrows after she declared her intention to contest for the Sembabule Woman Member of Parliament come 2026, on Bobi Wine’s National Unity Platform (NUP) ticket.

 Nina Roz, who is one of Uganda’s music icons, made the revelation on Friday evening during an interview on Sanyuka TV, where she made it known to all her supporters and fans that she intends to represent them in  parliament in the next general elections.

speaking during the interview, Nina Roz told the nation that; “I am the Bobi Wine generation. What you should expect of me is to be a voice for the voiceless, be there for my people and fight for change.”

Nina Roz went ahead to assure all her supporters in Sembabule to be ready to rally behind her when the time comes, because she is likely to kick off her campaigns soon.

Anyways, if this news is anything to go by, then it means Nina Roz will have to face off with Hon. Mary Begumisa, who is the current Sembabule Woman MP, and a member of the National Resistance Movement (NRM).

Meanwhile, putting music aside, Nina Roz continues to thrill the country with her latest single ‘Nwanilaako’, which is one of the jams dominating the Ugandan party scene, with over 165K YouTube views and counting.
