Black Market Records has entered into a longtime partnership deal with the biggest music label in the world, Universal Music, which will see the two companies work together in expanding and advancing their operations in the music and film industry.
This lucrative deal was sealed by Kim Bush, the General Manager, Black Market Records, who on Thursday this week visited the Universal Music operational headquarters in Santa Monica, California, where she held a meeting with the company’s senior Management.
Although details of the high-level meeting between Kim Bush and the Management of Universal Music remain highly confidential due to the sensitivity of the matter, we have since established that the main focus of their interaction was about how the two companies could come up with a working scheme in the publishing and distribution of music and films.
“The meeting was majorly about pitching. Kim was pitching to Universal Music all the music, films, video games, and other creative works produced by Black Market Records,” a source privy to the matter said.
“The main aim is to develop a working relationship between Black Market Records and Universal Music, which is one of the pioneer companies in the music and film industry and the biggest at that, in a bid to tap into their platforms and markets spread across the world,” the source added.
The source also noted that going forward, therefore, the entertainment industry is set to witness the fruits of this partnership between Black Market Records and Universal Music, which will be manifested in easier access to content like music, films, and video games on various platforms across the internet.
So, be ready to embrace the New Generation of all-round entertainment right at your fingertips!
