Renowned Kenyan Gengetone group the Mbuzi Gang dropped a new jam a few days ago dubbed ‘Shida’, a collabo with famed Ugandan musician Dr. Jose Chameleone, which has since gone global.
Dubbed the East African collabo of the year, ‘Shida’, which is an electrifying party anthem, is not only rocking airwaves in East, Central and Southern African countries but also those in Arabia, Europe, Asia and America.
Actually, Gengetone fans in many of these parts of the world are already sending in testimonies of how they are enjoying ‘Shida’, on top of heaping praises on the Mbuzi Gang and Chameleone for coming up with such a great collabo.
For instance, Brian Demes, a Ugandan living and working in Qatar, in the United Arab Emirates (UAE), had this today after listening to ‘Shida’;
“As a Kenyan in Qatar
this song makes me miss the clubs back home.”
Many other fans in various parts of the world have also confessed to loving the song, while others are sharing Tik Tok dance challenges for ‘Shida’, which is proof that has been accepted world over.
Actually, some fans have gone as far as crowning Chameleone as the ‘King of East African Music’ and branding the Mbuzi Gang as the Gengetone music ‘Greatest Of All Time’ (GOATS).
