Nezo B started pursuing his music career  in 2012 as a Hip-hop artist but due to changes in the  Tanzanian music industry, he soon realized that his audience adored Afro-pop music more than they did rap.

He therefore had to switch to Afro-pop and by 2018 he had become one of the formidable musicians in Tanzania.

Prior to his demise, Nezo B had become a renowned musician in Mwanza, Moshi, Singida, Manyara and other parts in Tanzania, especially Dar es Salam.

However, his music had also found grounding in other East African countries like Kenya, Uganda and Rwanda.

Over time, he had worked with renowned artists like Tundaman, Pnc, Maalim Nash and Rasco Sembo.

He signed a recording deal with Black Market Records in 2021 after the music label’s Chief Executive Officer (C.E.O) acknowledged his exceptional musical talent and recruited him under the label.

The management and staff of Black Market Records commiserate with the deceased’s family and take this opportunity to express our deepest condolences, following this tragedy.
