A number of leading Ugandan instrumentalists have been lined up to perform during the launch of Rako Gynius’ new album ‘Namunigina’, which will be held at Randivo Gardens in Kansanga, this Sunday.
Rako Gynius is set to officially unveil his album during a listeners’ party that will be held at the said venue, which will be fired up by live performances staged by some of Uganda’s finest acts.
Although the event will be graced by artists doing various music genres, top on the menu is a number of instrumentalists, who will back Rako Gynius as he performs the songs on his album.
Some of these include popular saxophonist Timo Mirele, ace drummer Drum Daddy, and guitarist Mugisha Frank, among others.
The ‘Namunigina’ listening party is slated to be one of the biggest events on the Ugandan entertainment calendar this weekend and come rain or sunshine, you shouldn’t miss it.
This is especially because the audience will have an opportunity to experience Rako Gynius performing live all the songs on his album which include; ‘Namunigina’, ‘Batulamuza’, ‘Ah Naye’, ‘Kamulegeya’, ‘Baabuwe’ and ‘Traditional Kekon’.
Don’t forget that the album is already available on all digital streaming platforms and is set to premiere on YouTube sooner than anyone can ever anticipate.
