Gengetone artist Joefes is rocking airwaves in Kenya with a fresh tune titled ‘Tumeona Wengi’, a very explosive collabo with Fathermoh, Lil Maina, and Mr. Tee.
‘Tumeona Wengi’ is a reverberating Gengetone that is already attracting streams on YouTube and by doing so the studio project showcases the immense engagement that Joefes commands on the Kenyan music scene.
Loosely translated from Swahili to mean ‘we have seen a lot’ in English, in ‘Tumeona Wengi’ Joefes lashes out at all people who hype their stature in society yet there are many others who live a humble life despite being powerful, wealthy, and influential.
In this jam, Joefes also hits on people, especially women who flaunt their relationships on social media only to end up shedding buckets of tears when they get dumped by their lovers.
It’s a song that augers well with contemporary society and because of the dope vibes with which he performs the track, ‘Tumeona Wengi’ is likely to become a Gengetone hit within a few days of its debut.
