There is currently no Kenyan artist who is bigger than the brand Vic West currently, thanks to his blockbuster banger ‘Kuna Kuna’, which features Fathermoh, Savara, Brandy Maina and Thee Exit Band.
Currently boasting of over 12M YouTube views and still counting, ‘Kuna Kuna’, which is just three months old on the market, has since transformed Vic West into a Gengetone kingpin.
With ‘Kuna Kuna’, Vic West has made new records and broken old ones in as far as the East African music scene is concerned.
This is because very few songs around the region, if any, boast of making over 12M within three months, let alone trending on YouTube and dominating airwaves for 16 weeks now.
It is not surprising therefore that three months after its release, the ‘Kuna Kuna’ effect is as new as it was at the time when it dropped.
It is the kind of song that millions of people around the world just can’t get enough of, reason why many continue streaming the video.
However, ‘Kuna Kuna’ is not just trending on YouTube but is also very dominant on digital platforms, whereby the song has so far amassed over 7.5M streams on Boomplay alone.
Let’s make ‘Kuna Kuna’ bigger by clicking the link to stream the video on YouTube.
