Kenyan ace music producer, singer and songwriter Vic West has landed the East Africa Entertainment Award (EAEA) for his massive banger ‘Kuna Kuna’, which features Fathermoh, Thee Exit Band, Brandy Maina and Savara.
‘Kuna Kuna’ by Vic West won the People’s Choice Collaboration Single of the Year in the 2023 year’s EAEA, beating off stiff competition against ‘Furaha’ (Remix) by Iyanii ft. Arrow Bwoy, Nadia Mukami, Kristoff, Dogo Janja and Exra, ‘My Abedo’ by Bahati ft. Prince IndaH, plus ‘Kamnyweso’ by Khaligraph Jones & Mejja.
This great milestone is another brick added on Vic West’s music career, because to date, ‘Kuna Kuna’ is still one of the biggest hits not only in Kenya but across East Africa and other parts of the world.
Indeed, Vic West rightly deserved to scoop this award, because ‘Kuna Kuna’, which has so far attracted over 20.5M YouTube views, and currently ranks at No#03 amongst the top 10 songs in Kenya, definitely took Kenyan music to the rest of the world.
Vic West is set to receive his award during the EAEA Extravaganza ceremony that will be held in Kenya on Friday September 29, 2023 and we promise to bring you the updates on this website.
