Popular online radio station Radio 254 over the weekend hosted Vic West, the mastermind behind monstrous Kenyan hit ‘Kuna Kuna’, which features Fathermoh, Savara, Brandy Maina and Thee Exit Band.
During the two-hour radio interview, Vic West opened up to listeners about some of the great jams he has produced over time under Black Market Records.
A phenomenal artist, genius songwriter, composer and producer, Vic West is the brain behind some of Kenya’s biggest hits like; ‘Kuna Kuna’, ‘Dai Dai’, ‘Dark Skin’, ‘Soko’, ‘Chun Li’, ‘Kaskie Vibaya’, among others.
However, although he has worked on a number of songs over time, Vic West told listeners during the interview that ‘Kuna Kuna’ is his greatest studio project so far.
The video has beaten many odds in the Kenyan music industry by attracting over 16M YouTube views within just five months of its release, a record that only Vic West can boast of in East Africa, on top of winning him several awards.
