Celebrated Kenyan artist Vic West has literary thrown the spanner in the Gengetone wheel after he announced the release of a video for his fresh hit ‘Cool Me Down’.
Vic West teamed up with Ben Soul, Savara, Thee Exit Band and Joefes on this studio project, which has become a dancehall explosion all over East Africa.
We have since established that after the ‘Cool Me Down’ audio which was dropped recently being treated to a massive reception by Gengetone fans and becoming a must-play at several night clubs, Vic West has announced that he is premiering the video on Friday this week, a move that has sparked off widespread excitement.
This however doesn’t come as overnight success for Vic West, because he is soon realizing the time and effort he invested in this song.
Over the years, Vic West, who is a record producer and musician, has worked with some of the already established Kenyan musicians and thanks to his exceptional music skills, every collabo he works upon turns out to be a mega hit, just like he did with ‘Kuna Kuna’, featuring Savara, Thee Exit Band, Fathermoh and Brandy Maina.
Watch out for the premiere of his ‘Cool Me Down’ on YouTube this Friday and be among the first people to stream the video, but you can still stream the audio on all digital platforms.
