Kenyan music kingpin Vic West on Thursday officially premiered his freshest jam ‘Cool Me Down’ on Trace City FM, thereby unveiling the song to the entire world, since this is a radio station with  a global audience.

Vic West, who had been invited for an interview by Trace City FM host Jojo Kibare, thrilled listeners during the show as he answered the host’s questions with vigour and lots of positive energy.

He revealed that ‘Cool Me Down’, which features Bensoul, Savara, Thee Exit Band and Joefes, is a song with a global appeal, noting that the tagged artists did their best in their verses to make it this great.

The singer cum producer noted that the first days of its premiere are very promising, because the video has so far attracted over 68K YouTube views and still counting.

However, besides ‘Cool Me Down’, Vic West also took time to tell listeners about his blockbuster hit ‘Kuna Kuna’ featuring Fathermoh, Thee Exit Band, Savara and Brandy Maina, which he admitted is his biggest studio project so far.

Observing that ‘Kuna Kuna’ is now heading for 18M YouTube views, Vic West hinted on dropping a remix for the banger any time soon.

He also spared a moment to send shout outs to some of Kenya’s finest artists who he said inspired him to do music among them; Breeder, Boutross, Fathermoh, Brandy Maina and Khaligraph Jones.
