‘Kuna Kuna’, a chartbuster jam by Vic West featuring Fathermoh, Savara, Thee Exit Band and Brandy Maina, is currently the biggest song in East and Central Africa.
Despite the fact that it was released two months ago, ‘Kuna Kuna’ is still topping music charts, maintaining the lead position for 13 weeks straight.
But that is not all; ‘Kuna Kuna’ is performing excellently well on YouTube, with over 10M views so far and still counting.
Truth be told, this is real history in the making, because very few songs done by artists from East Africa have managed to hit that record.
Thanks to Vic West, who is the brain behind ‘Kuna Kuna’, Kenyan music is now spreading to the rest of the world and fans everywhere are embracing the Gengetone vibe.
Actually, if he continues with the same trend, it will only be a matter of time before Vic West owns and dominates the African continent with his music.
‘Kuna Kuna’ is such a great song that it enabled Vic West to win two awards in the Pulse Music Video Awards (PMVAs) in the categories of Best Producer of the Year and Viewers’ Choice of the Year.
