‘Zimeripoti’ By Odi Wa Muranga  Sparks Social Media Frenzy

It is rare for fans to mount pressure on an artist, demanding him or her to release a song.

However, this has happened to Kenyan artist Odi Wa Muranga, whose new song ‘Zimeripoti’ has since sparked off a heated  frenzy on social media.

It all started  with Odi Wa Muranga promising fans that he would release the song on a certain date, only for the record label to which he is signed, Black Market Records, to shift the release to another date.

This resulted into fans mounting pressure on Odi Wa Muranga to release the song and, left with no choice, he had to come out and apologiize to the fans by posing thus on Instagram;

“Sorry fans but there is a way the label had planned to release the song so I had to talk to them. They have agreed to release it because of you and I would like the support to come 10x. ‘Zimeripoti’ is now out on all digital platforms, go listen and tag me…”

As a result of the pressure from the fans and due to public demand, we can ably reveal that ‘Zimeripoti’ is already available for streaming on digital platforms and that the official video for the song is dropping in a few days’ time.
