It should be noted that ‘Bariki Mzinga’ is a street slogan in Kenya that can be loosely translated to mean ‘Bless the Bottle’. As such, in Kenya, most party-holics say the words; “Tunabariki Mzinga” before pouring a drink in their glasses, meaning they have blessed the bottle. In the same vein, ‘Bariki Mzinga’ is bound to be a huge blessing especially on the party scene in Kenya, because it is a jam that thousands of people will easily relate with. The jam is set to drop on digital platforms in a few days’ time, after which the video will premiere on YouTube. However, based on the effect the audio has on several Gengetone lovers, it is useless to doubt whether the song will be a hit or not. This is because ‘Bariki Mzinga’ is already attracting thousands of Tik Tok challenge videos, which indicates that the song is already a big project even before it is officially released. Rico Gang is a singing duo that comprises Triand and Harry Craze, who made headlines recently after their collabo with Mbuzi Gang dubbed ‘Miondoko’ surpassed 2.2M YouTube views.
