According to the latest rankings by East African music analysts Music Charts 254, Vic West ranks amongst the Top 10 greatest producers in Kenya. A songwriter, singer, producer, choreographer and director, Vic West is currently one the artists upholding the Kenyan music industry. He is being hailed for having taken Kenyan music to the rest of the world after he put on the market ‘Kuna Kuna’, a jam that has since turned into a global hit. With over 13.3M YouTube views, ‘Kuna Kuna’, which is still topping music charts, has kept Vic West in the limelight for close to four months, after having made him the focus for media attention. It is a fact that Vic West, who has so far won two awards in the Pulse Music Video Awards (PMVAs) courtesy of ‘Kuna Kuna’, deserves the credit for having come up with the idea to do such a massive project.
