What does it take to survive in Nairobi? Most young people believe the answer lies in a mix of hard work, street smarts, and a stable, high-paying job. In their latest production, Black Market Films explores this struggle in a powerful new social realism short film titled THIS FAITH. The story follows Rebecca, a young woman battling the brutal cycle of unemployment, poverty, and the looming threat of eviction. As the pressure of life intensifies—bills stack up, the lights go out, and the water is cut—Rebecca is forced to confront a painful truth: some “opportunities” come with a price that can destroy the soul.
